If you distill most software down to the core (B2B at least), it simplifies Whack-A-Mole for its users - perhaps even automates it. More possibly still, wrap it with insights and actions!

Of course, a mole represents an impediment or problem, and I have never known such great mole whackers as CPAs.

They are experts at solving client problems, and then they tend to move on to the next. Solve a problem, solve a problem, solve a problem. 'Tis the job.

Now imagine stepping back in the wake of your problem-solving and seeing various patterns emerge. This is hard to do when you are inside the grind of your annual target.

Thus the need for a strategic outsider - a peer from another department or someone like us - to help you study where you could be solving problems at scale.

Solving problems at scale is monetizing Whack-A-Mole.

The accountant's daily journey is ripe for monetization...I just hope the CPA gets to help create it and benefit from it rather than buying a new tool from someone who has no vested interest in the problems they solve.
